Yo! Where's My Habas Corpus?
Tuesday, June 26, 11:30am-12:30pm
Mark O. Hatfield Justice Center, 204 SW 8th Ave
Sponsors: ACLU. Socialist Party of Multnomah County, Amnesty International
Not since the Civil War has Habeas Corpus been suspended. (And, before that, we had a running stretch going back to about 1215 A.D.) Once again, the Empire of King Bush oversteps its bounds, and that means it's time to get out and demand our rights. Bring signs, bring your neighbors, bring your lawyer.
