"How Portland's Neighborhood System Serves the City Today and In the Future." The event is free, and the public is invited to attend. The panel discussion coincides with the release of the League's report, "Part II: How Portland's Neighborhood Program Works Today," available on the League's web site (www.lwvpdx.org) after November 1. Other documents produced by the League as part of its study, a history of the Neighborhood Program, and results of surveys of Neighborhood Associations are also accessible on the League's web site.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government.

Workshops and discussion groups will be going on all day (9am registration, but come by whenever) in the Miller Building at Lewis and Clark from November 18-19th.
