Please join us for the memorial and procession as we remember the voices of Democracy, Liberty and Justice. We will call out murderers such as the patriot axe, and a re-affirm... re-invoke The Declaration of Independence! Remeber this is a funeral so please dress accordingly. :)

We will be protesting, demonstrating, and maybe even do an action or two at KFC. Arrive at 11am (for a quick update on KFC Campaign, rights training, some media 101, and tactics/strategy training.) We will be holding signs, passing out leaflets, educating the public, and making a little noise. Other stuff could happen, too, but you probably need to be there to see it. Why KFC?
PETA/IDA/LC is asking KFC to eliminate the worst abuses that chickens suffer on the factory farms and in the slaughterhouses of its suppliers, including live scalding, life-long crippling, and painful debeaking. The more than 850 million chickens killed each year for KFC are tortured in ways that would result in felony cruelty-to-animals charges if cats or dogs were the victims, but KFC still refuses to make changes. As a leader in the chicken industry, KFC has a responsibility to ensure that the chickens raised for its buckets are protected from the worst cruelties.
