Four experienced and influential activists from Portland will gather to discuss the importance of peak oil, related environmental justice issues, sustainable solutions (such as local agriculture and permaculture), community building, and organizational cooperation. Following a moderated interview of the panelists will be an audience Q & A.

Mayoral Roll/Stroll Around Disability Issues

City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Ave., Rm 110 to:
Disability Discussion: Old Church, 1422 SW 11th Ave.
Mayor Tom Potter, Nickole Cheron (ONI Disabilities Program Coordinator), and the Persons with Disabilities community will take a roll/stroll through the south park blocks to the Old Church.  Following the roll/stroll, the Persons with Disabilities community are invited to join the Mayor and ONI's disability program to discuss disability issues and concerns within the city of Portland. Care Medical Equipment has donated wheelchairs for the Mayor's use. Light refreshments provided by the Old Church.
Reservations are required for this event.  The first 20 people from the disability community wanting to roll/stroll will accompany Mayor Tom Potter to the Old Church for a facilitated conversation.  Contact  Nickole Cheron Nickole.Cheron@ci.portland.or.us
