Delegate Selection Underway!

Oregon to pick 10 delegates to the 2001 National Convention

Our state has 4 organized locals and an At-Large membership. The locals are Lane County, Helen Keller Memorial Local, Jackson-Josephine County Local and the Multnomah County Local.
To see which local you are counted in see the mailing label on this newsletter. You will see Lane, HKML, J/J, MCSP or At-Lrg.
Officially the number of delegates allowed is announced July 15th. Using our membership lists and counting our new local in Portland (MCSP just chartered) the number is forecast at 10.
Delegates pay their own way and it is not a cheap trip, if you can not serve as a delegate maybe you could donate a few dollars to help those that will be making the trip.
Donations can be sent to the SPUSA of Oregon treasury at 543 C St, Ashland, OR 97520.
To inquire about serving as a delegate contact your local Chairperson for more information. We must confirm our delegates by August 15th with the National Office.
