You realize there isn't just one "better than thou" tendency, there are at least three, and I'm told I am the captain in charge of one of them. (And I suspect you may believe this, though I don't believe it is true).

You - you are nothing but a hanger on, wasting your time in trying to expel Melvin.

What would we do without Melvin?
