My guess is that some folks are impatient with the process and the hard work involved in building the operating platform for an orderly evolutionary transition from one economic order of affairs to the other. I think patience and good ol' fashioned hard work will enable a virtuous and enterprising people to attain socialism sooner rather than later than those who would skip a lot of steps, ignore the clear lessons of history, and bring the world yet another era of totalitarianism masquerading as socialism.

It is remarkable, and Atlee, I'm sure you may agree with me here, that some of those who identify themselves as "revolutionary" true 100 PRO-CENT socialists dismiss out of hand those socialist lines of thought (Christian Socialism for example) that predate Marxism and most certainly predate the totalitarian apostacy from socialist tendencies of all kinds.

I tend to find those who claim to be "revolutionary" less than so and their reality is separate from the norm as though living on another world. Even Stancel Spencer never showed for meeting here in JAX when he is just a few minutes drive from the location site. One local member even offered him a ride and he refused to attend. I know most if not all the folks who are active in JAX and no one seems to know Stancel in the flesh. The way the SPUSA is currently running itself into the ground I am sure the Christian Social Tendency will be the only remaining part in all due time as it was from the first and is currently in some form of real power and in the future to come. Being both Christian and Socialist I and others like me, past and present, are very use to being attacked. This hasn't slow me down one bit and I know it won't slow other CS Locals either.
